She&#8217;s right &#8211; the Upper West Side Barnes &#038; Noble is the best one in the city, in my opinion.  I haven&#8217;t been there in years &#8211; it&#8217;s way out of my way &#8211; now I usually go to the B&#038;N in Union Square which is a madhouse.  A madhouse of sale tables, calendar racks, and parents with strollers.  It just doesn&#8217;t have the same relatively serious vibe that the Upper West Side one has.
