Movies where the central character not only learns something about themselves, but that certain something literally catapults them into a different place. They are clearer, wiser, or more spiritually agile. This is true in Grinch. It\u0092s simple, funny, silly, and full of the true spirit of the Holidays. The fact that nothing, no matter how devious or well planned could stop good cheer and selflessness from coming, is gargantuan. It\u0092s not about giving, it\u0092s not about receiving, it\u0092s simply about accepting. Accepting what\u0092s in all of us. Not that we have to search it out, but that no matter what we do, or what anyone else does, that part of who we are is always tangible.
