She has been doing <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.indiewire.com\/womenandhollywood\/guest-post-creating-a-new-online-feminist-film-journal-by-miriam-bale#\">a lot<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelmagazine.com\/TheMeasure\/archives\/2011\/11\/21\/talkin-feminist-film-criticism-with-miriam-bale-founder-of-the-new-quarterly-joans-digest#more\">press<\/a> about it, and Joan&#8217;s Digest launched this month.  The list of contributors is fantastic (and I don&#8217;t say that because I&#8217;m one of them).  I&#8217;ve been following many of these women and their writing for some time.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joansdigest.com\/issue-1\">The essays<\/a> are varied and many.
