Taken last night on a windy twilight.  I love old-fasioned signage, and I am sad that there is so little of it left in New York City.  But all is not lost.  You really have to keep your eyes peeled for it, because it is still there, AND, very important, <i>take a picture of it<\/i> when you see it, because it may have been torn down tomorrow.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve loved the Esposito Pork Shop sign for a couple decades now.  Last night, as the wind whipped at us at every corner (anyone who was in New York yesterday knows how insanely windy it was), I decided finally to just take a damn picture.  <\/p>\n<p>Just looking at that sign satisfies me.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9th Avenue and 38th Street.
