{"id":5413,"date":"2006-10-02T12:05:51","date_gmt":"2006-10-02T16:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/?p=5413"},"modified":"2011-05-01T14:38:07","modified_gmt":"2011-05-01T18:38:07","slug":"champignons-etc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/?p=5413","title":{"rendered":"Champignons etc."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not sure why but I&#8217;m just in love with this <a href=\"http:\/\/bibigreycat.blogspot.com\/2006\/10\/chromos-chocolat-serie-champignons.html\">series of weird little images<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s a leftover from childhood, and from books like <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Borrowers-Mary-Norton\/dp\/0152047379\/sr=8-1\/qid=1159805401\/ref=pd_bbs_1\/102-0298380-8236910?ie=UTF8&#038;s=books\">The Borrowers<\/a><\/i> where everything is miniature, and you use an empty spool of thread as a table, etc &#8211; and you can see all of these objects in a totally different way because <i>you are so small<\/i>.  My favorite part of Captain Kangaroo, for example, was the little family who lived in the bookshelves.  Green Jeans Shmeen Jeans, I lived for those mini little people living their lives, hidden behind the big books. I had a great desire to be teeny-tiny when I was a little kid, like a miniature person who could huddle under any champignon with no problem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not sure why but I&#8217;m just in love with this series of weird little images.
