Nice to see <i>Alien<\/i> on the list.  I think that&#8217;s one of the best and most chilling movie posters ever.  But there are many I have never seen.  Many, of course, are famous images &#8211; you&#8217;ll recognize them.  The <i>Lawrence of Arabia<\/i> one, for example.  I think that everyone will recognize that one. <i>E.T.<\/i> as well.  Famous image.  But check out the poster for Chaplin&#8217;s <i>City Lights<\/i> &#8211; never seen that one before &#8211; beautiful!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinemasterpieces.com\/raiders30x40.jpg\">Here, however, is one of my favorites<\/a>.  It&#8217;s not on the list &#8211; but I love love love it.<\/p>\n<p>I also, frankly, would have put <a href=\"http:\/\/www.impawards.com\/1981\/posters\/french_lieutenants_woman.jpg\">this one <\/a>on my list as well.<\/p>\n<p>(I think it&#8217;s obvious I am partial to those images because they are kinda old school.  They call to mind images like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviegoods.com\/movie_product.asp?sku=140285&#038;master%5Fmovie%5Fid=11986\">this one<\/a>.  Or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviegoods.com\/movie_product.asp?sku=174199&#038;master%5Fmovie%5Fid=12197\">this one<\/a>.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AFI&#8217;s 100 American Movie Poster Classics.
