This is the story of that shoot, from the ground up, no retrospect &#8230; it&#8217;s all in present-tense:  &#8220;Today we moved out to the dry lake for the wild horses scene &#8230;&#8221; etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Charlton Heston, Marilyn Monroe, and Rock Hudson.
