The film has some problems, it’s too obvious, it’s too episodic, the soundtrack is so on the nose you can’t believe they chose the songs they did. <\/p>\n
But Hudgens is good. There’s a religious aspect to the film which seems to be bothering some people. I thought they treaded pretty lightly. Maybe it’s my Catholic upbringing with all those formidable nuns in my family who are the most compassionate can-do walk-the-walk people I’ve ever met in my life. But I go into that in the review.<\/p>\n
