Here is what he writes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>You know &#8230; I was going to ask you to marry me, but now that I have found out how snarky you can be &#8230; the wedding is off!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I love how he declares &#8220;the wedding is off&#8221; as though I would have had no say in any of it anyway.  <em>What<\/em> wedding? The one in your head?  Is your name Muriel, by any chance?  Do I even know you?  He also seems to assume that I should be <i>flattered<\/i> by his near-proposal.<\/p>\n<p>So he&#8217;s just gonna take his toys and go home now!  &#8220;The wedding is off!&#8221; stamp-stamp-stamp-slam door!  That&#8217;ll show her!  See what she&#8217;s turning down!  She&#8217;ll miss me, boy, I&#8217;ll show her!<\/p>\n<p>People are so crazy.  I find it exhausting.  And yet also kind of funny.
