I particularly like his suit and tie. Her hair was meant to be yellow but it turned out sickly chlorine green.  Cashel and I decided that she had had a &#8220;mishap&#8221; at her hairdressers.  She also looks vaguely like that singing grapefruit from days of yore on <i>Sesame Street<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Son egg<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"DSC05510.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/DSC05510.JPG\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>by Cashel.  The red dots are NOT supposed to be chickenpox &#8211; I actually forget what they are supposed to be, but Cashel and I both decided that he had a bad case of the pox.  You can&#8217;t really stick with the plan in your HEAD when it comes to Easter egg design. She&#8217;s home from college break.  She has dyed her hair blue and says stuff like, &#8220;Everyone is so <i>conventional<\/i>.&#8221;  Cashel said, &#8220;She probably says that everything is &#8216;so lame&#8217;.&#8221;  Exactly!!<\/p>\n<p>The father&#8217;s boss<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"DSC05505.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/DSC05505.JPG\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>by Cashel.  (I love how old-fashioned gender roles are alive and well in the Easter Egg world.  Mother in pearls and a hairdo, father in suit and tie who works for &#8220;The Man&#8221; &#8230;)  Also, I think the boss is awesome.  He&#8217;s dissatisfied. I realize that South America is WAY too low and that I have added some strange appendage to Baja &#8230; but I did my best.  And please notice that I have included Easter Island.  I said to the group, &#8220;I&#8217;m putting Easter Island on now&#8221; and Cashel literally put his head down onto the table and started shaking with laughter, saying, &#8220;You&#8217;re going into that much detail?&#8221;  Nothing better (and I mean NOTHING) than making Cashel laugh like that.<\/p>\n<p>Our group experiment.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"DSC05516.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/DSC05516.JPG\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This one was dyed in a mixture of ALL the different dyes as well as splashes of seltzer and orange juice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Father egg by Brendan.
