I totally agree that it is time for a real revival, time to take another look at this American icon.  ((Oh, and in case you miss them &#8211; the comments to The Siren&#8217;s post on Crawford are fantastic.  Her comments section is always an incredible place to hang out.)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m late to the Joan Crawford party &#8211; but that is due entirely to my own shortcomings.  <a href=\"http:\/\/abillings.livejournal.com\/\">Alex<\/a> made sure I got over it.  Thank God.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/index.php?p=6092\">Here are my thoughts on <i>Sudden Fear<\/i><\/a>, which I think is one of Crawford&#8217;s best performances.  Anyone who has a preconceived notion of Crawford&#8217;s talent, only from <i>Baby Jane<\/i> and <i>Mommie Dearest<\/i> seriously needs to see <i>Sudden Fear<\/i> to see an actress at the top of her (and anyone else&#8217;s) game.  Wow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slantmagazine.com\/film\/you-the-jury-joan-crawford-otto-preminger-and-daisy-kenyon\/\">And here&#8217;s the review I wrote for <i>Daisy Kenyon<\/i><\/a>, starring Henry Fonda and Joan Crawford &#8211; another fantastic performance from Crawford.
