I haven&#8217;t seen Jen since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/?p=7761\">we went to go see <i>Rambo<\/i><\/a> and that is just not right!<\/p>\n<p>So Jen and I had MUCH to catch up on &#8211; not to mention the fact that I was meeting the boyfriend &#8211; and it was all very exciting and awesome.  I loved him.  We had a great time together, all of us, and he couldn&#8217;t have been more lovely, and a gentleman, and funny, and good to Jen, and all that good stuff.  Great night.<\/p>\n<p>At one point we had so many different threads of conversation going at the same time, that &#8211; as one &#8211; we all came to a pause, not sure which thread to follow.  I mean, nobody said anything &#8211; but we all kind of took a breath &#8211; and then Jen&#8217;s boyfriend said, &#8220;We have about 20 browsers open right now.  I think we need to close a couple before we move on.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I am STILL laughing about that.<\/p>\n<p>And we did!  We went through our browsers (of conversation) &#8211; tied up loose ends in a couple of them so we could &#8220;close&#8221; that &#8220;browser&#8221; and then we all felt much much better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I went out with Jen and her new boyfriend (I had not met him yet) for drinks at a bar in Hoboken.
