I chose Roger Ebert’s review of Kwik Stop<\/i>, directed by my old friend and fellow Badlands<\/i> enthusiast<\/a>, Michael Gilio. Roger didn’t just review this tiny independent film, he championed<\/i> it. He championed<\/i> Michael’s work as a director, a writer, and an actor. Words cannot even express what support like that means to a young guy just starting out.
