We had done our show the night before, then probably hung out at his place or my place, watching movies (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheilaomalley.com\/?p=8536\">Johnny Handsome??<\/a>) and kissing like lovesick teenagers in <i>American Grafitti<\/i>, and then met up for breakfast the next morning, to nurse endless cups of coffee and read our books.  I loved it when he got vaguely annoyed with me and felt compelled to lecture me.
