This is a performance I remember and I’m so happy it’s on Youtube (video below the jump): Foo Fighters performing “The One” (one of my favorites of theirs) – on the big stage during the Salt Lake City winter Olympics. They’re so cold and so into it they’re almost out of breath. It’s not about the perfection of the vocals or the sound – neither are perfect in this venue. It’s about the energy, and the feel of the show itself. The crowd is out of hand. I love the shot of the people dancing around wrapped in American flags. I love it when Dave Grohl screams.<\/p>\n
