If you click on...

the photo here ... you will see why it reminds me of the famously bitchy (and very apt, I think) comment from Ewan McGregor about Minnie Driver:

"That girl would go to the opening of an envelope."

How good an actress (actor?) is she? I've always thought her great, from Circle of Friends on. But I'm not an actor.

With a Jesus T-shirt no less! Great quote from EM, and great connection to the photo, Red.

How heartening it is to see that the automakers--whose SUVs helped to drive up the price of oil-- are now making SUV hybrids. Unbelievable.

Health AND sustainability? She's got her hands full. Then again, I guess you have time for these things when you're not working.

I loved Circle of Friends. And I actually liked her a lot in Good Will Hunting.

Ewan McGregor, who is (Star Wars notwithstanding) an independent film actor, who never wants to sacrifice doing his small Scottish films for the huge blockbusters - has contempt for her because she seems to have bought into the "being an actress means being seen at every opening possible" vibe in Hollywood.

Ewan McGregor is famously indiscreet.

He also was bummed out when she suddenly lost 40 pounds. He thinks she's not "keeping it real".

Ha ha. Whether or not he is right, I think it's pretty funny that he would show up at press junkets and say stuff like that about his fellow actors. (Especially if I agree with him. Heh heh.)

I loved Conan O'Brien's joke about how "Mini-driver" is the nickname women have for his penis.
