Chicago-Area Peeps

Moved my announcement up ... It'll stay here for a while.

I am going to be in Chicago next week. I would like to plan an evening where, basically, I sit my ass on a bar stool, with some friends - and see who of you all show up. I would love to meet any of you people who read me, and who live in that area, or thereabouts. I'm keeping it simple ... just a night in a bar, basically ... BUT! If you're interested, and are around ... please come and join.

Date: Friday, October 15, 2004
Time: 7:30 pm
Where: Guthrie's Tavern, 1300 W Addison St (cross street: Lakewood Avenue) (This is a couple of blocks west of Wrigley Field)

I love Guthrie's. It's right around the corner from my old apartment. It's dark, cozy, and they have Yahtzee.

Damn. I am going to Chicago tomorrow, and will be there through Monday. If it was next week, I would have been at Guthrie's. Maybe next time.

Monday is Alex Day. I want no excuses. Every other night we will continue the massive movie watching. I'm so excited I honestly don't know what to do.
