I can't keep track of all the deaths these days. The Pope? Prince Rainier? And Saul Bellow? (That's a great obit in the Times, by the way.) The fact of the matter is I have not read any Saul Bellow. He is one of those giants of the field that I missed. Like Philip Roth. Etc.
