Another run-in between Competitive Boy and getupgrrl. So far, Competitive Boy is losing. And from the likes of this particular encounter, he doesn't stand a chance.
Here's the complete story:
I think I am smitten.

Hahahahahahahaha! God, I love her.
Posted by: Lisa at April 21, 2005 04:16 PMThat girl is scary GOOD.
Posted by: popskull at April 21, 2005 04:29 PMAlso, I just think it's so funny and so perfect that all this hostility is happening at a meditation class. It's like a Seinfeld episode.
Posted by: red at April 21, 2005 05:17 PMIt is very much like a Seinfeld episode. Not very enlightened however.
Posted by: CW at April 21, 2005 08:31 PMOh and sorry, CW - something about your comment bothers me. If you read her blog every day, you would know her life, her struggles - what she has been through. She is one of the most enlightened writers I've ever come across. This woman has had an incredibly rough road, and she writes about it with humor, self-knowledge, and honesty. She shows herself, warts and all. I've cried reading her site. So her lashing out at Competitive Boy, to me, is not a sign that she's not enlightened, but that she's allowing herself to live in this world, be annoyed, not always be a "trooper", and then come back to us - and give us comedica tales.
If you knew her story, and didn't just take that one post out of context, I hardly think you could call her unenlightened. That post, to me, is a sign that she's a feckin' survivor.

BWAH hahahahahahaha! Oh, that is the best line ever. I'm going to have to remember "I am experiencing you as an angry person" for this upcoming nasty-meeting I have to attend. If things get too political - out comes that line.
In my head, I hear it delivered with absolute, perfect calm - sort of therapist's-voice calm, very matter-of-fact.
