Smokey and the Bandit too!
He really was one of a kind. My last Elvis post was about the Jerry Reed sessions on Elvis’ records (1967). Legendary stories.
Too weird – I was just flipping channels and there was a Scooby Doo movie called “The Phantom of the Country Music Hall” with Jerry Reed doing guest voice duty. I used to have a small crush on him after seeing him in those Smokey movies with Burt Reynolds in my early teens. He was a sexy stud.
Nice!! Yes, I had a big crush on him too from Smokey and the Bandit. Total wild-man. Stud, indeed.
The first time I saw him was on an episode of Alice and have been in love with him ever since the 70’s. Crushing like mad.
Oh my gosh, I forgot that he was on an episode of Alice!! I wonder if it’s on Youtube – I will check.
