She’s still with us, physically and mentally. Her birthday is tomorrow. One of the greatest actresses in the world.

I don’t know why, but it makes me very happy that Ms. De Havilland is 100 years old and still with us. I hope she’s enjoying it. I read someplace — maybe a piece by Robert Osborne? — that when she turned 80 she vowed to live to see 100. And now she vows to live to see 110. I hope she gets her wish.
I love this!! I too love that she is still out there. God, what an actress.
She’s terrific. Very heartening that with whatever physical troubles she may have from advanced age – there must be some – they’re well outweighed by her eagerness to stick around!
My favorite movie of hers so far is “It’s Love I’m After”. Very funny and I love her complete commitment to the fun.
Oh, forgot to add: “It’s Love I’m After” was on TCM early this morning and will be repeated SUNDAY, AUGUST 21 @ 07:30 AM (ET).
