Review: Patriots Day (2016)

Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg are on a roll. Earlier this year came Deepwater Horizon (which I really liked), and now comes Patriots Day, about the Boston marathon bombing. Two gigantic movies in one year. (They also did Lone Survivor a couple years back). Some of Patriots Day is very good, but there’s one aspect that really did not sit well with me.

My review of Patriots Day at Rogerebert.com.

Intresting film. Got a great cast, but i sometimes doubt if everything taht happens in this movies really has happend. It just sometimes looks a bit toomuch like Mark Wahlberg wants to play a big hero. He can be so selfish now and then. I believe he even thougth he could have stopped 9/11, but i can be wrong there. And Michelle Monaghan remains one of the hottest women in the movie world.
