Unfortunately, this is my second negative review for “Women Writers Week” on Rogerebert.com. I am the Crankypants of the Ladies.

Sounds like the cranky is VERY warranted. I am particularly struck by your descriptions of what appears to be the most cliched obligatory heterosexual banalities; why do filmmakers so often think they don’t have to work when it comes to straight romance? And why is the title SO AWFUL?!?!?!?!
// heterosexual banalities //
hahahaha That is so right ON.
Like, why even BOTHER? The actors have no chemistry, the dialogue is not well written, the love story is a side issue anyway … It was a chore just watching that sub-plot.
