Review: Ask Dr. Ruth (2019)

I reviewed the fun and informative documentary about Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a juggernaut in the 1980s, but still going strong at age 90. I learned a lot about her life from this documentary, stuff I never knew. My review is now up at Rogerebert.com.

My work blocks rogerebert.com so I can’t read your review yet. However, I listened to Scott Simon’s interview with Dr. Ruth on NPR this past Saturday morning. She was still delightful. At 92 she still has the best giggle. And she was in the Israeli Army

Kim – there was so much about her I didn’t know! What an incredible life. It was great to follow her around in the doc. She trained as a sniper!! I did not know this! She said she was very glad she never had to kill anyone.

I love your site, you’re so nice to us visitors (bad grammer intentional.) Came for Supernatural, stayed for the education.

Kim – awww that’s so nice of you to say. I figured I wanted to create a place on the internet where I myself would like to hang out. :) I appreciate everyone who takes the time to comment.

All roads lead back to Supernatural!!

What bad grammar (aside from a harmless run-on sentence)?

          I’m enjoying this site, too.

I saw Dr. Ruth when I was just leaving after a long day visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There was a big flurry of excitement down the all, so I went to see what all the fuss was, and there was Dr. Ruth, laughing and joshing and soaking up the adulation. She was wonderful. The security guards seemed exceptionally excited, and when I thought of all the people they see there every day, and the famous ones they must see now and then, it was a real tribute to her.

I look forward to watching the documentary now. Thanks for the review.
