Didn’t even need to see their faces to know who those two were.
Frances – I know, I love that so much!
This is immediately one of my favorite photos ever. I’ve always had a mental image of what it looked like in the little front room of the McCartney home as John and Paul worked on writing songs. To actually be able to see it, and to see the almost achingly beautiful closeness of the two at that time, is a gift.
Bill – right?? I actually hadn’t seen it before – it was referenced in the Tune In book (which I just finished!) – so I googled it and there it was. Incredible. In a way they have no idea what’s about to happen – but in another way I feel like they DID know what was about to happen. Maybe not the SCOPE of it but they really didn’t struggle with doubts!
