I recognize the bold choices made here – and it’s always good to see Robert Patrick and Nick Stahl – so I call those things out, but this film was not for me. It didn’t help that I couldn’t get past one of the choices. I interrogated my response – as I always do – poking holes in it, just to see how it stood up to inquiry. And my feeling still stands.
