    Clue:

    I am unable to think about this line in the context of the last scene of this book wihtout feeling a lump rise in my throat.

    A first-person novel … powerful, angry, devastating – really of its time … The narrator of the book has a secret, and you don’t know the secret until halfway into it.

    Great book.

    One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. One of my favorite books.
