I guess they’re afraid that that ice-monolith is gonna crash into another ice-monolith. Or … not afraid. Maybe even hopeful. Seaways opening up, happy penguins, I have no idea. I just like the picture.

Looking at that picture I can only think, with proper winter attire, how unbelievably cool it would be to sit on the edge of that thing sipping a beer and just cruising around…
Now THAT would be a fun vacation. I so want to do that now.
Let’s do it. I nominate Bill to steer.
the first person to yell “I’m on top of the world!” gets thrown off, though.
The same goes for “I’ll never let go.”
“Jump!”.. ?
All that ice could sure cool a LOT of beer. :-p
Man that is going to be some momentum (m*v)!
I’ve run into an iceburg (actually, to be technically correct, an ice keel) from underneith going about 4kts… It pushed our 4800 ton submarine down and to the right about 80 feet like it was a tooth pick and put a 6in deep 3 ft long dent into a piece of HY-80 steel that was over 18 in thick…
Don’t mess with iceburgs!
And especially beware of icebergs (dang I which blog comments had spell check)
and if you forget to turn on the grill, you get ice burgers…
Burgericeter iceterburgers?
Sheesh. That was just ghastly. Stop me before I kill again. Please.
