i love how expressive einstein was; his portraits always show such glee (or sadness, on occasion).
Yeah. I love this picture in particular!
My favorite is the one of him and Charlie Chaplin. I can’t find it anywhere, but it was on the cover of Scientific American several years ago. My dad still proudly displays it on his coffee table.
I actually considered putting that here, Emily … I found a copy of it. Hang on – I’ll post it in a moment. Maybe it’s the same one.

That’s slightly different than the one I’m thinking of, but it looks like it was taken at the same occassion. Chaplin looks positively dashing in that photo.
