This is quickly making the rounds on Facebook and a friend posted it. So I’m sitting there watching and halfway through – “Hey! It’s Cousin Mike!”
It’s hilarious. Also made funnier by the fact that I realized I didn’t think, “It’s Mike O’Malley!” In my head he’s totally Cousin Mike.

Same here with the Cousin Mike thing. Watching him on this WHMT2 clip, and on Glee, I call out, “Cousin Mike!”. Hubby thinks I’m nuts.
Hahaha…there’s this whole contingency of people who refer to him as “Cousin Mike”. I mean I know the Irish have lot’s of cousins but we’re taking it to a whole new level!
David – if you look over on the right-hand side of my site (near the top) where it shows “Recent Comments”, you can see that “cousin Mike” also refers to himself as “cousin Mike”. It cracks me up!
I have such respect for him as both an actor and an actor and I had remember instantly liking him when I first saw him on screen (it’s a particular type of charisma few actors have – that innate like-ability) – before I “knew” you, Sheila… but it’s unavoidable that the long-time Sheila Variations readers have an affection for Cousin Mike that also has something to do with who he is to Sheila.
We enjoy his work and make a point of seeing it ’cause he’s awesome. We ROOT for him ’cause he’s “Cousin Mike.”
