Being around as many cops as I am all day, I can pretty much guarantee you that his fellow cops probably told him to go back and get it and that the hand is holding a place of prominence in a squad room somewhere.
That is SO awesome. I love it! And yeah, what Lisa said, I’m sure, though I know a few cops who definitely would NOT have resisted the temptation to attach the hand to their car. One deputy in particular with the sheriff’s DUI taskforce here I can so imagine doing that with every hope of completely freaking out some drunk driver he’d pulled over.
