Dean Martin

I have no idea what Martin is doing but what I love most of all about this photo is the very real laughter on Frank and Judy’s faces. Look at Frank!! You can so sense the friendship between these three.

    Re Judy Garland. PBS just did a special on Judy Garland (with your tax dollars; so I hope you watched), and in it they mentioned a 1965 TV special w/Judy, Frank and Dean. Over half the TV sets in America that were turned on that night, were tuned to that special. That’s Superbowl kinds of ratings kids. I think that’s why in 1988 Frank and Sammy had Liza Minelli join thier Together Again tour; to capture that Garland magic. The irony of having poor Liza whose drug use and boozing matched her mothers, replace Dean on the tour, because of HIS boozing was not lost on many of us. If you know more, please respond.
