“I’m No Stranger to Dark.” – Lisa Marie Presley

Very touching interview with Lisa Marie Presley, on the occasion of a concert she just gave in the fabled Jungle Room at Graceland. Where her father recorded near the end of his life. If you know me, and you know some of my obsessions (outside of Elvis, and one in particular which I do not want to name, for obvious reasons), then you will know the BOMB that she dropped in this interview. People are talking about it everywhere, on the message boards I frequent. But she dropped the bomb with both elegance and strength. She’s a badass with tons of integrity, just like her dad. Proud of her. (And her new album is great.)

What did I miss? How did I miss it? What was the BOMB that she dropped? Hate to be so “unknowing.” Help.

      Sorry. No can do. :)

But her comments resonated deeply in a community that watches her very closely and wishes her well. People are literally cheering across the Interwebs about this interview – it’s huge. I’m sure some Googling of her name in regards to this interview will yield results.

Sheila, totally get it. Thanks. How quickly I forgot. Nicely done. And I’m happy for her.

      :) See what I mean?

I think she even LOOKS better. Lighter. There’s even a hint of humor, which is new for her. She’s still holding on to some cards, for obvious reasons, she knows how bad they can make it for her … but she’s coming out into the open. So happy about it.

Hey, I even hope for Tom Cruise to escape. Why would you wish anyone to remain benighted?
