It’s so hopeful – the way she sings it. So pure, I think. There’s such beauty here – she’s like a little girl singing to her reflection in the mirror. I love how her arms fling out to her sides at the end. Beautiful.

Also, her eyes are serious. There’s a smile but her eyes are serious and sincere. It just captures that time for me – that early-2002 time. Brings it all back.
bren was there! this is the super bowl he was at….u2 sang at half time. i love how her voie can sound sort of scratchy. i love that.
