No kidding, really?
Ugh, right? And there are all these “puns” on “curiosity killed the cat” throughout the script. Too on-the-nose. The script could have used another 2 or 3 drafts.
Maybe it should have been called ‘The Cat Lady’ – just in case people didn’t get the message about all those cats in bags.
Right. Because the film needs to be more obvious about its subtext in case we don’t “get it”. BAH.

Yes, yes, yes… a thousand times yes. It would save me from annoyed stares in response to my inevitable expletive every time something on the silver screen happens in post modern darkness. Perhaps it’s ageing eyes, I don’t remember (ageing brain), but if so, then I stand by my right to grump.
Me too! You can have your screen be dark without it being incomprehensible!
