Today, it’s time to break the fast and post some pictures of a long-time “happy place” for me.
Although, in this particular case, I have to be frank and say that “happy” is a euphemism for … something else. Rowr.
I love his music, too, but this just flat out hurts.
hamana hamana hamana
I still miss the dreads, but whatever … he could wear a clown wig and I’d still be hamana hamana ….
hey sheil!
watched ‘holiday’ last night for the first time! so good. also fell asleep to ‘to have and have not’ but have to finish it later. so good.
anyhoo…hope you are doing great!
cash was on the cover of the local newspaper on a political field trip to register voters!
Bren – oh my gosh, Cash!! Please save a copy of it – I must see it!!
Oh, and sooo glad you saw Holiday. I think it is Katharine Hepburn at her finest. And how about Lew Ayres as the brother – isn’t he fantastic??
Lenny makes me very happy. And that last picture?? very VERY happy
I wish he’d make some more Let Love Rule-esque stuff.
I think his latest album is very Let Love Rule-esque! I love it. But I love all his stuff, even Circus – which most people seem to have not liked. That’s one of my favorites of all of his albums.
But I love “Love Revolution” on his latest – and the “Back in Vietnam” anthem – awesome!
Mere – I know, right? Rowr!!!!
Oh, and “Good Morning” on his latest … heartcrack! It reminds me of the best of the Beatles … that classic rock sound, but vulnerable … Love that song!
Slurp!
Yeah Lenny Cravitz, whatever. I could have dreads and a washboard if I wanted. I just don’t want to.
Now Cashman in the paper, that’s cool!
Pat – I just don’t want to hahahahaha Yeah, really – I CHOOSE to not have a washboard stomach!
We need to see Cash in the paper. It is an O’Malley priority!
Washboards are for sinks, not stomachs.
I found the picture online pretty easily. I e-mailed it to Jean right away.
Found it!! So awesome!
He’s very… bendy.
