I feel shame. Yet also longing. Because this is my heritage.

    Whatchoo talkin’ ’bout, Sheila?

  2. red says:

    hahahahaha

    It’s your heritage, too!

  3. Cullen says:

Damn straight (does a little Rerun dance with lots of arm movements and little leg movement).

  4. red says:

    RERUN!!!!! bwahahahahahahahahahaha

  5. De says:

It’s my heritage, too. I watched entirely too much TV as a child but I’m a freakin WHIZ at pop culture trivia! Now…if only I could harness that power into something productive!

  6. red says:

I remember nothing about Gimme a Break except that she put the vacuum cleaner in the fish tank.

    Why???

  7. De says:

Someone didn’t teach Nell how to properly perform her housekeeping tasks, apparently. Of course, no one had the guts to complain…have you SEEN her?? (may she rest in peace)

  8. red says:

Yeah, really – are YOU gonna bitch to Nell Carter???? I think not!

  9. Ceci says:

I watched “Diff’rent Strokes” too as a child! Only, it was dubbed into Spanish, so these little catchphrases you use in English, are quite common here in Argentina, only in their Spanish version.

For example, “Whatchoo talkin’ ’bout, Willis?” would be: “¿De qué estás hablando, Willis?”… and I say this little phrase everytime I can, even to this day, hahaha!! And everybody from my generation understands completely. I guess you could say it’s my heritage, too??? :)

  10. red says:

    Ceci – ha!!!!!

I am so going to appropriate “¿De qué estás hablando, Willis?”

    That’s brilliant!

  11. Ceci says:

Sheila – HAHAHAHA!!! I would love to hear you saying it!! But remember to say it with a pout, just like Arnold, it sounds even funnier, hahaha!!

  12. just1beth says:

    I love this- International/Cross Continental Diff’rent Strokes!!
Skyward Christmas- bringing the people of the world together….
“We are the world…we are the children…”

  13. red says:

Diff’rent Strokes brings us together. That is so insane!!!
