For their Fall 2015 menswear collection, Rag and Bone launched a video featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov and Lil’ Buck. Directed by George Greville, it’s a mini-masterpiece of movement and images, completely hypnotic and gorgeous, sexy and strange.

Thank you for this, Sheila! I was deeply in love with Misha in my teens and 20’s! One of my life’s greatest disappointments-we actually went on a field trip to the ballet when I was a senior in high school, and when we got to the performance, he was unable to dance because of an injury. I was devastated! This video reminds me of when he danced Twyla Tharp’s choreography, I always admired how he was so open to trying new things.
Maureen – I think I remember you telling that devastating Baryshnikov story! Awful! An understudy will just not cut it.

I know! He’s just so … hip. And yet also with the discipline to be the dancer he was (is). I just love watching these two guys move. Love it!
