Aren’t we so lucky that someone such as he once walked the earth and shared himself and his talent so fully? I feel lucky that I was on the planet at the same time that he was.
People like him don’t come along that often.
I don’t know how to talk about my feelings about Freddie Mercury. But that’s what comes to mind when I watch him in action.

Yes. No words. He is practically otherworldly in his ability to be here, right now, in the moment.
I don’t like to use the word “miracle” and its various permutations all that much, but his voice was really miraculous. One of the greatest pure voices in history. He needed so little embellishment in his vocal performances, because all he needed was that voice.
Is it a sacrilege at all to note that I personally put Annie Lennox in the same category? I truly believe that as pure singers, she’s in the same rarefied air as Freddie Mercury.
