I Think About the Founding Fathers A Lot

I think about those guys when the going gets rough, when I wonder which way we are headed, when I need strength to carry on. They inspire me.

But do they inspire me as much as this?

Sheila — did you ever see those pictures of Matt Stone and Trey Parker that they had taken in front of a fireplace – they had that stupid effect a lot of photographers were using in the 80′s, where they’d super-impose a softer image on top of the orginal photograph (there’s probably a word for this – in my dictionary it’s “stupid”). There were two photos, each with the both of them together and either one with their individual photographs on top, looking lovingly to the side. I immediately thought of those pictures when I saw the Christmas photo. If I were brave enough to plunge into the depths of fangirldom, I’d try and find copies.

Now we need that eagle on the previous picture to swoop in and poke out David’s eyes…that would be patriotic beauty at it’s best.
