Can’t you just see these big, burly macho policeman creating this little haven?
Policeman 1:”She needs water.”
Policeman 2:”I’ll get it.”
Policeman 3:”How does she get water when she’s nesting in the wild?”
Policeman 1: (as Policeman 2 scurries to get some water) “It doesn’t matter, she’s nesting here now.”

David – after the month of intense flooding in Rhode Island, I bet tending to a nesting goose was probably a total relief!!
