    Sheila, I’m honestly trying to see in these people what others see. I have never been that infatuated with the “Golden Age of Hollywood” people. I feel like such a heathen, but I’m beginning to think that it’s something you either react to or you don’t and no amount of trying to understand will do me any good.

    Your thoughts?

    You must have something in your life that you just think is beautiful. And how could you explain it?

    It would be like someone who said to me, “Shit, man, I just HATE the ocean, and I HATE nature, and I HATE looking at the stars. What do you get out of it??”

    You don’t get them as people or celebrities – or you don’t like them in their movies? Which, dear boy, which? I guess I can see the former, but the latter? No, no, no, no, no, no.

    “I think you like to break fast, then take little breather down the backside, then come home strong.” … or words to that effect.
