Review: Mercury 13 (2018)

I reviewed the wonderful documentary about the 13 women who went through astronaut-testing in the late 50s/early 60s. Highly recommended.

    This movie just brought back to me the ghastly arrogance of 50’s and 60’s males.

    Some of the statements which left the lips of some of those Mercury males left me speechless. I forget the words from Glen which shocked me but another of those arseholes likened a female astronaught to sending a chimp into space, that should be etched on the idiots gravestone! The Soviets won that round of the space race with honour.
