In 1969 my baby brother was 19 and a member of a rock band (played Fillmore way down the bill) in the San Francisco Bay area. He was in LA that summer and heard about this ranch where you could go and get drugs and girls. Yes, it was the Spahn ranch. He didn’t go (probably too stoned). Happy hippie times. A month later, happy hippie times died.
