A crazy list 70!!!
Thank God Chris Cornell is on there. I felt strangely personally invested in his presence on the list.
Go take a look. And much fun will be had by all. (Oh, and if you want to leave a comment – you have to scroll down a bit further than you might think. I got confused. People are already shocked that Steve Perry is first … so that gives you some idea of what is going on over there.)

Hmph. Neither Elvis nor Elvis is present; I find that infinitely sad.
Dalrymple. Excellent to see you again, my worry-wart friend.
Not enough tattoos, that’s the problem around here. More tattoos and stripteases. Yep.
Speaking of Jesus Christ Superstar–no Ian Gillen (Deep Purple)?
It’s almost as if they had some requirement that every singer in the top ten (save Roger Waters) have shouted “YEEEEE-owwwwwwww!!!!!” in a song at some point in their careers.

There’s no doubt in my mind that that was exactly Bunny’s requirement.
hahahahahahaha
S’cuse me…..no Robert Smith of The Cure? He should be #1!
(Of course, you KNEW I was gonna say that.)
David Lee Roth? Ugh. Most. Overrated. Ever.
I shamefully must defend Steve Perry. Again I state- the ugliest man with the most beautiful voice. I must hide now.
No Van Morrison-I can understand leaving out some of the fifties stars-Little Richard-Eddie Cochrane, but no Van the Man-anyway it’s late and I’m going to sleep-also where is Roy Orbison
hellllloooooooooooo where’s Foo man Dave???
regarding Chris Cornell- he’s totally magnificent with Soundgarden, he should be in the top ten (maybe swap positions with David Lee Roth) but his stuff with Audioslave SUCKS! His vocals are wasted on crappy boring Audioslave SHIT! I feel like killing myself whenever their songs come on the radio. If I ever met him I would slap his face and say “get the hell out of that band!!!!!!!”
I’ll step down now.
Mere –
I hear you. No – it’s Cornell on those Soundgarden songs – Unbelievable. Haven’t listened to them in a while, should drag them out again.
Drag? Like they’re heavy?
No Jimmy Buffett (a stretch, but he’s on all my lists, including writers, chefs, shortstops– my mind is besotten with Margaritas)? No John Lennon? No Elvis?
This is like when they ask MTVers to name the greatest movies of all time, and everyone is shocked when “Ten Things I Hate About You” or some such garbage comes in first.
