And I love everything she does with Scorsese. In Taxi Driver, “Troy!” In Kind of Comedy, “Mr. Romance”, and New York New York, she breezes by, “Family Night?” She’s always real, relaxed, funny, and in the moment.
Yes! she’s so wonderful – the scene in King of Comedy when she realizes they have just broken into “Jerry’s” house is amazing. And she’s in Love Streams, too – this beautiful woman strangely drawn to the wreck ofJohn Cassavetes – but she’s too young and fresh for what’s going on with this guy. She is this space of calm and peace in the middle of all that mania.
