In which the Red Sox are playing.

In which the Red Sox have won 2 – 0.

Is this for real, man?? Hang tight. Hang tight. It’s not over til it’s over.

    Go Red Sox Nation!

In looking forward to the game tonight, I brought myself down in thinking about the insufferable Tim McCarver. I felt much better, as you will, after Googling “Tim McCarver haters”!

    OK Sox, go get ’em.

PLEASE go on http://www.projo.com and look for an article written at 1:00 am on thursday october 21st re: game 7 of playoffs. it’s truly wonderful and heartwarming and poetic. it is written by BILL REYNOLDS and titled something like “miracle finish: sox beat yanks: they grab AL title in house that ruth built.” if you can’t get it for whatever reason, tell betsy, and i will snail mail you a copy. it’s such a perfect commentary on being a red sox fan and what that game meant. my favorite part is the fact that it was submitted to the publisher less than one hour after the last out. he must have just cranked this thing out of his heart without stopping. please let me know if it’s no longer in the providence journal website. i will send it to you. it’s worth any aggravation just to read it.

If you can’t find that article Susanna mentioned, let me know and I’ll cut and paste it off of Westlaw’s periodicals database for you. No need for you to have to wait on snail mail, nor for anyone to pay for stamps.

    GO SOX!!!
