Visiting Elvis’ cars: 1962 Lincoln Continental

Like I said, I’m no real gearhead but I so appreciate the details: the door handles flush against each other is so interesting! The shape: the rounded expansion of the beautiful hood and then the sharp angled rectangular tail-end. I admire people who design this stuff, and I also love how you can CLEARLY tell the “brand” from the shape, but within the brand there’s all this variation.

In a way, this Lincoln Continental is as intimidating as the 1971 Stutz Blackhawk. Almost.

1973 Stutz Blackhawk

Came by here tonight as I needed a dose of Elvis love. RIP Lisa Marie. Thanks Sheila for teaching me so much about the King.
