Beautiful shot.
It looks like a painting. I love how deserted it is.
It was so cold! I was the only moron wandering out there on that frigid night – but I just couldn’t stay away from that place. It was magic.
Very nice, Sheila.
It needs a nice murder mystery written in it. :)
When I saw Polanski’s The Ghost Writer, which takes place on a wintry Martha’s Vineyard, it reminded me so much of Block Island in the winter. There are only 750 year-round residents on the island – so it’s pretty quiet as you imagine. I had only a couple of moments when I got spooked in my little house. But other than that, I listened to the wind howl around the eaves (one night it was so strong it actually ripped a shutter off), and felt as cozy as could be.
But yes: LOTS of possibility for murder!
