I was at at Trader Joe’s the other day and there was an old lady who was a dollar short a couple registers over and she was taking one item off her order. As she walked out it dawned on me that I could have given her one damn dollar. I was kicking myself on the way home. I decided it’s time we stopped waiting for natural disasters to be kind and generous to each other. Even in simple ways like offering a dollar to an old gal who is probably just getting by.
